New PC..What programs now?

Hi, just built a new PC a couple weeks ago but I noticed that on some sites the web page is slow to load or for example when im on youtube the buffering will be very slow or the web page will have a very slow loading time. So im wondering what the problem is considering I just spent about $3000 putting this pc together it kind of sucks having slow content on some web pages but important ones at that. I don't think it has to do much with my PC components as much as it does with my internet provider? Or perhaps the Software that I have not downloaded? So if you can recommend any software to download such as Adobe Flash Player(which i already have) I really appreciate it.I have Verizon Fios, Windows 7, Mozilla Firefox and if you need any other info please let me know thanks.
 
Have verizon look at your connection. (youtube can suck all on it's own at times though)
