Pls help me for the monitor too, 1920x1200, 300-400$ (may be BenQ V2400G, G2400W, G2400WD...)

thanks in advance

WD6400AAKS - fastest single drive out right now. Get 2 if you want to keep a separate storage drive.
Corsair HX/VX line, go 550+, Silverstone, Thermaltake TruePower, Antec Quattros,
Go for a 2x2GB kit of PC2-6400 - Kingston, Geil, Mushkin, Corsair, OCZ
Crand doesn't matter much on the cards, with the exception of two things: included bundle and warranty. Get what fits your needs/budget. The models you've picked are the right ones

I have a few questions....

-- What's the budget on the remaining parts you need to get?
-- Which games/programs are you going to be using?
-- Do you plan on overclocking?
-- (For Vista Ultimate) Do you need BitLocker Drive Encryption? The Vista Business features? (Are you getting your copy of Vista Ultimate from a university?)

1000$+400$ for the monitor, i think is enough for my needs.

-- Which games/programs are you going to be using?
All popular FPS+ Online RPGs

-- Do you plan on overclocking?
may be a little bit...but im not enthusiast

-- (For Vista Ultimate) Do you need BitLocker Drive Encryption? Nope...

The Vista Business features? (Are you getting your copy of Vista Ultimate from a university?) ;)

voila :)

If you're considering overclocking the Q9550, get a 4GB kit of DDR2 1000 RAM instead.

Are you getting Vista Ultimate because you need the features from Vista Business, or because you're getting it through a deal at (your local) university?

Did you change your mind and decide to get two WD6400AAKS hard drives?

Why aren't you considering getting the HD4870 instead of two HD4850's? (Next time, don't use the after-rebate price, since you still have to pay the before-rebate prices at checkout.) If you can't stand playing games (especially FPS) at medium settings (at a 1920x1200 resolution), and you could afford it, you may want to consider getting the HD4870X2 -- it will be (a bit) easier to work with than two cards in CrossFire mode.

Agree.

Second one.

Yes.

2x4850 crossfire aren't still best price/performance, even in 1920x1200?

Still need few words for good monitor...

I forgot about the recent [H] review, but if you're going to play games at high settings, it may be easier to deal with one high-end card like the HD4870X2 instead of a dual HD4850 CrossFire setup.

I can't recommend a good monitor -- too many factors come into play, including your budget amount. You should check out our Displays forum for recommendations.
