Hi people,

Not sure if im in the right section... navigating this site with my droid. If im not in the right area please move thread.

Well i took the challenge and built my first PC and happy that i did. Just like putting a puzzle together... it was fun.

Now here are my issues after turning it on to install windows 7:

The top front I/O panel started smoking... coming from the PCB board i believe they call it where all the fan and LED wires are soldered onto the CM Sniper case. I shut it down and repositioned the wires and turned it back on... same issue. Rinsed and repeat... not smoking anymore.

Put the windows 7 CD into the drive to try to install... blank screen. Also, the RAM red light is on by the DIMM slots. I would appreciate any help to resolve my issues. Thank you.
