I assume Windows Media Player put it there, but it could've been something in the K-Lite Codec Pack, both of which I've had installed for a while. I didn't notice the button for a while, so I don't know exactly when it appeared. Anyway, if I right-click a video file there is now an option called "Media Info". I want to get rid of it, because it also uses the hotkey "m". I use the m key for rename, so I just right click and hit m quickly to rename a file, and now I can't do that. So, I either need a way to edit hotkeys in Windows XP or a way to remove that button... any ideas?

You probably have installed MediaInfo which is a program that tells you what video and audio codecs files were encoded with. It adds a right click context menu plug-in.

Go to a audio/video file, right click and click MediaInfo. In the box that pops up, on the left side under the green arrow you will see a Gear 'Preferences'. Click that, then uncheck Shell extensions in explorer.

Or you can uninstall it all together.
