Ok im new to overclocking this is my first time to do so an im having a bit of a problem i keep having an error about 8 min into linx no BSOD or any other probs. What do i need to do to make is stabe? Current setup is i7 920 on an p6x58d 21x 191bclk 1.21v 100% load temp right around 72c. Thank you for all the input.
 
Also another question i have is can someone explain dram freq. an uclk.? By uping these does it have a realworld speed increase?
 
you'll either need to lower your bclk/multiplier or up your vcore until it's stable...i'm running 20x179 @ 1.225v just to give you an idea. dram frequency is RAM speed...uclk has to be double (or more?) the dram freq. running your ram faster has much less impact on overall performance than cpu oc will...but there is a noticeable difference. you'll probably need to give your memory more juice for it to run faster and still be stable--just like your cpu.
 
you probably need to up the voltage.. id say your pretty close to stable stable voltage if its erroring in linx but not BSOD'ing so try upping it to 1.22 or 1.23v and see what happens.. but a little more information would help.. like what ram your running.. what your ram clock is at.. if its overclocking or underclocked.. all that information helps..
