Imran Haque has just released several new NVIDIA GPU projects (p5907, p5908, and p5909). These use the GROGPU-MT "Core 14" core and are all 1888 pointers. The performance should be the same as p5906 and other 1888 point WUs and, as with the others, they are very chewy so don't expect high PpD numbers. However, in beta testing, they were extremely stable for me and I did not notice any temperature increases.
 
good, Ive dropped 20*C not doing those crazy units anymore, not a moment too soon
 
Another good thing about the 1888 pointers is the very low CPU utilization. :cool:

and GPU.. on avg the 1888's use about 70-90% of the gpu.. almost all the other ones peg the gpu at 98-100%..
 
I like them myself my gtx260 still 8000ppd on them and 11c less heat 51c vs 62c
 
Yea, my 295's (slower clock) get 7300 on these, losing about 1k per core off the 353's
temps are better tho, that's a plus

I actully kinda like the 1888's. CPU utilization is much lower and the lower GPU PpD is offset by the significantly improved PpD on A3 & BigAdv.
