New MSI RX9800

Righto, just picked up this great card with the r360 chipset..

first question, i installed cats 4.7 and when i log into windows a windows explorer window pops up "C:\Program Files\ATI" this is irritating, so how do i stop it!

secondly, how do i go about flashing the pro to an xt bios? iv read about it, but not sure on where to a) get the bios from, or b) how to do it

help would be appreciated

edit: with regards to the how do i do it bit, i jsut did a few googles, and realise i need to know what brand of ram i have.. would this be the same for all the boards of the same brand/model, or do i have to look myself ?

u dont need to flash it as the 9800xt shaders are enabled

just overclock it to 412/730 and its the same and no real risk

what about better memory timings? overdrive? and is temp sensing available?

also, any insight into my first little problem ?

Short answers.

Overdrive is disabled, cannot be enabled.
Tempsensoring is sported by the chip, MSI has disabled it, cannot be enabled.

You cannot flash it into an XT cause no regular bios works for the card. The only bios that does work is the Medion 9800XXL.
