New MP3player...

I currently have a CL Zen V plus 4Gb, wich is believed to produce good sound.
Now, there's nothing wrong with them but I want a change.

Is it a good choice to go for a Cowon D2 4Gb after i sell my current one?
It's like double the retailprice of my Zen V+.

I know it plays a lot of more formats, the memory is expandable by SD sticks and your SQ should be better and *yay* a touchscreen with videoplayback!.
Is it worth the price or am I forgetting some importats features/differences?

I'm changing my Zen Aurvana IEM for Shure E2C's.

Personally I wouldn't go for a player that Rockbox doesn't support. I couldn't live without ReplayGain or crossfeed support. I understand that most people wouldn't have these requirements though so I probably couldn't help you, sorry (I would say it's worth checking out though).

im not sure of your size or space requirements but i will say COWON is an excellent company that makes IMHO the mp3 players out there. you can't go wrong with any of there products. I personally have the COWON X5L 30GB with the shure e5c's and love it! Great battery life pristine sound quality and insane durability. I fell off my motorcycle and cracked the screen and it still plays perfectly!

More research into the D2 4Gb then ^^
Hopefully it will support rockbox in the futere like the X5 but it is not a requirement
I'll ask for it though.
