what is a good mouse for a mac mini? how is that new mac mouse, good?

Any USB mouse should work perfectly fine on a Mac, although you may not have access to some of the more advanced features depending on the drivers and whether or not there is any software available for OSX.

Any USB mouse will work, but if you want something that is robust and highly optimized, Razer actually has excellent OS X drivers for their mice. The thing I like about them is that they are a surefire way to completely eliminate mouse acceleration.

I just received a Razer DeathAdder Black Edition which I'm now using with my iMac, and I love it. My ideal situation would be a Steelseries Xai with OS X drivers to Razer's, since I still much prefer the shape of that mouse to any of the Razers that I have tried. Unfortunately that doesn't exist yet.

It's funny, the CMO at Steelseries is a friend of mine and I know that he's a huge Mac fanboy. I have to bug him to get his company on that. ;)

Any mouse + USB Overdrive if the buttons don't all work properly.

I love my Logitech MX518.
