I recently upgraded my motherboard to this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128357.

I am using the same usb network adapter I used on my last motherboard and now during online games I will freeze about every 2 minutes due to the network being dropped. The thing is it worked fine on my last mobo. Used the same drivers which are the most up to date as well.

Any idea wtf is going on? Maybe a chipset issue? The previous mobo was an nvidia 610i now this one is an intel g31.

edit: forgot to mention my network card is a gsky gs-27usb

Please tell me you did a fresh install of Windows, or at least a repair...

Make sure your BIOS is up to date on the motherboard. A lot of times i run into USB issues with old BIOS releases, never with gigabyte, but give it a shot

Roll back to a previous version of the wireless drivers. Make sure the most up-to-date Intel chipset drivers are installed (from intel's site). Toggle between Windows controlling the wireless settings and using the bundled wireless software to control the wireless device.
