So I recently got two Dell P2210's. They look and work great. However I'm using them with my Acer P223W.
Specs of the Acer P223W.
1680x1050 res/ 60hz
2ms Response Time
2500:1 Contrast Ratio
Specs of the Dell P2210.
1680x1050/ 60hz
5ms Response Time
1000:1 Contrast Ratio
I can post a video of it up once I get home, but I'll try to explain it the best I can...
Whenever I go to scroll down or go over an animation the Dell will flicker, and will "scroll" down. It's like on VCR's when they aren't setup right for the VHS.
Once I get into a game I don't notice it, unless I'm at still picture loading screen. It's done the same thing on the both the Dells.
My guess, is it's the difference in the response time. The Acer is refreshing sooner, and the Dell is trying to catch up so it flickers or possibly the DVI cables are touching and causing interference (doubt it)? If it is, just have to wait a few weeks to get another Dell monitor.
So if I can get any confirmation and/or help on this, that would be great!
Thanks,
