hey guys... im new to this site but ive been here a few times b4 but i need some help cuz im really getting annoyed with this..

about a month ago my motherboard and power supply both died on me.. i used to have a chaintech socket 754 mobo but now since that happened im just looking to upgrade to socket 939.. here is my problem.. i have a ati x800 pro AGP video card and alot of the 939 boards are pci express and only a few are have agp support and i want a decent board for it but then i been looking for onboard video for 939 but they come micro atx.. so now i need help
on getting a motherboard that has AGP and wil run great overall or an onboard video for a regular atx mobo... i dunt care if its a downgrade from my x800 as i will upgrade the card later on anyway if i have to...im playing on puytting the x2 3800 dual core on it as well... right now this is what i can think of.. if anyone finds or knoes anything please let me kno cuz it would greatly appreciated.. cuz i have been getting annoyed and frustrated with looking around and i keep feeling like giving up...

asrock 939 dual sata 2 has an agp slot, and a pcie slot and goes for about $65. why do you want to avoid matx boards? they have come a long way and there are a few that are really nice stable boards with good features, like the biostar tforce 6100-939 which has built in nvidia graphics or the dfi rs482 which has an onboard ati x300. most cost less than $100 and have onboard everything, a pcie slot and 2 or 3 pci slots. they also are great overclcockers, if you do that thing.
 
well i really dont mind staying away from them, but will i have a problem installing it on a regualr tower... will it be abel to screw down in the case i have.... if that is possible then i wouldnt mind a micro atx... that biostar tforce looks very good as i have seen that and i was thking about it till i saw it was micro atx and thought that would be a problem installing it in my regaulr case..... i just wanna make sure that i find the exact thing i need... i know ppl here like you are very helpful and i should have come here sooner to ask for some advice.. if possible i mite look into that biostar tforce.... also out of these micro boards which one would u recommend...

it will fit into any atx case, it just doesnt use as many standoffs. i would have to go for the dfi, has the most features, good onboard sound, stable, great overclocker. otherwise the tforce. the asus has been out a while and i cant remember ever hearing about it, some guys get the foxconn, but its a hit or miss board. check out the sff forum here for stuff about these boards. ive had a tforce since october, and the only board i would swap it for is the dfi.
 
thanx man for your helpp... i definately needded some info and advise and i think im gonna go for that dfi board.. i heard good things about that baord as well and it seems reliable... if i have anym ore questions i will let you kno... thanx again for ur help
