Hey guys long time reader, little poster.
Anyway my current mobo (Asus P5B-E) is shitting me up the wall. It doesn't overclock anywhere NEAR as good as it should cause it's the crap first revision and it's layout is crap as it had all the regular PCI slots right up against the PCI-X 16 slot so any gpu with an aftermarket heatsink eliminates them all bar one which is taken up by my wireless card.
Anyway moral of the story is I am sellin it to get a new one. I have 200 AUD to spend and am looking for the following:
-Awesome overclocking
-Non-SLI (but if it is oh well)
-Good N/SB cooling
And of course there's sata ports, gigabit lan etc. but they are all pretty standard now days.
I was thinking of the DS3 as it's got RAVE reviews and is actually 50bucks under my budget so I'd havea bit of cash left to play around with however if there is a mobo out tehre that is worth the 50bucks more then please recommend it to me.
I was looking at the P5B-Deluxe with the inbuilt wifi, thus eliminating my wireless card... but I don't think it's worth the money really.
Help appreciated
Mike
