I need to build a new Mini-ITX with specific dimensions. It needs to fit inside of space inside of my current desk, so no more than 15" x 10" x 14" (H x W x D). The case I chose fits these dimensions. This will replace my current computer (see sig) so I can repurpose that to dedicated ESXi box. I'm tight on space in my room so the case dimensions are the driving factor.

Now for the questions.

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Internet browsing, Microsoft Office, Thunderbird, managing virtual machines with vSphere. Very light photo/video editing, no gaming.
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$600 flexible
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
St. Paul, MN. I have a Microcenter nearby.
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
Case, Motherboard, PSU, CPU, RAM,
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
Two SSDs, two monitors, keyboard, mouse
6) Will you be overclocking?
No
7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
1680x1050 for the first monitor and 1280x1024 for the second monitor
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
In the next 2 weeks
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc.
USB 3.0, SATA 6Gb/s, onboard video
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
I have Windows 8.1 64bit with the Pro-Pack I can legally reuse

Here are my thoughts on the parts so far:

Case: Lian Li PC-Q33B
Mobo: ASrock FM2A88X-ITX+
CPU: AMD A10-7850K
RAM: G.SKILL Ares 8GB
PSU: Corsair RM45052

I'm open to recommendations, outside of move to a new place and get a dedicated office. :p

How about the Antec ISK 300 case instead? It comes with a 150W PSU too.

It'll fit all the stuff you listed plus the two SSD's. I'm using one of these cases to house my pfSense firewall and everything fits nicely inside including a low profile dual port Intel NIC.

Only potential problem using it in your build may be the 95W CPU you selected. After you add up all the parts you're probably going to be on the upper limit of the 150W PSU.

I have the Antec above. Good case given the feature set and size, if a little cramped. The PSU is a bit noisy on that version, but not too bad. I had to replace the provided 80mm fan because it was too noisy for my silent build, but I'm picky :D

Yeah dude, if you're not going to be gaming or overclocking, why bother with a Kaveri?

Intel Core i3 does exactly the same things as the A10-7850K does, has better single-threaded performance, and uses half the power. Lower price as well.

Gives you the future option of a Core i5 or i7 if you find you need more performance for those virtual machines. The A10-7850K is already tapped-out if you find you need more grunt.

Quick correction on an error I just noticed I made (error of omission really).

I have the 65W version of the case. I'm using an Asus PH8H61-I w/a Pentium G620t too, so it doesn't use anywhere near the same amount of power that the motherboard you selected does.

Why are you not looking at the NUC/Brix series? How on are you going to cool a 95W CPU in such as small case without making it sound more than a X360? ;)

Well, I took a trip to MicroCenter yesterday and built the bellow rig. I'll don my flame suit as I'm sure folks here will have a strong opinion on the matter. :) So far it suits my needs and I'm happy with it. I was actually able to fit it on my desk with my second monitor sitting on top of it. :D

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-F2A88XN
CPU: AMD A10-7850k
RAM: 8GB Crucial
Storage: Samsung Evo 850 250GB
Case: Thermaltake Core V1
PSU: Corsair 600w

I've got the same Mobo/CPU/Case as you. I really enjoy the flexibility the whole system has. Once I buy a new TV, it's getting put in the living room.
