I am new to mining but not to hardware.

I Had a Strix 1060 6gb OC.

Bought:
1 X RX570 Nitro+ 4gb $418usd tax in
2 X Gigabyte Windforce 1060 3gb $378usd/ea tax in

Currently running NiceHash.

1060-3g mining Equihash on DTSM @ 324.9 Sol/s avg - Sol/W 2.75
1060-6g mining Equihash on DTSM @ 359 Sol/s avg - Sol/W 2.62
RX570 mining Equihash on Claymore @ 317 Sol/s avg

Power is average $0.067 per kWh. USD

Does this sound right?

Also I thought the RX570 was supposed to mine better than the 1060. Especially the 3gb version as the 570 has 4gb.

Your Sol/w on the 1060s should not be that low. A good mark is to aim for is roughly 4 Sol/w for Nvidia cards.

Are you powertuning them down to about 75%?

You also may want to check out cryptonote on the 570.

So after tweaking the cards i have
3gb - 310 Sol/s (3.5 Sol/w)
6gb - 354 Sol/s (2.9 Sol/w)

I Found that the difference in daily income is far lower than the power savings if i go lower on the 6gb. The power is pretty cheap here it seems.

For the 570 i copied the 1500 Straps up to the 2000 and flashed it. My problem is i can't get the mem clock over 2000. I have been reading where people usually set it to 2200.

What exactly is cryptonote?

All my 1060's get between 4.07 to 4.24 Sol/W. I overclock but I don't push them hard. And my numbers are lower. 285 sols. But my power has been going up each month it use to be .03 cents a KWH now its up to .12 cents a KWH so I had to go with lower sols.

Are they 3gb or 6gb? Luckily my power seems to be half what you pay. Sadly the cards are likely more expensive.

Well I have 12 - 6gb card rig and a 12 - 3gb card rig. I do wish the power company would take crypto for payment since I am using a lot power.
