New memory problem

I recently added this memory....http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820227210

Im running 3.4 p4 prescott but after I installed the memory, my clock speed reads at only 2.4. Can you please tell me what is going on? Did I buy the wrong memory? I know I installed it right because I even took it out and reinstalled the memory. Please help. Thanks

power?

thats the only thing i can think of. the 6800 was the peak of nvidias power gulping gfx cards, with a raptor, and a 3.4ghz processer. thats the ONLY thing i can think of. but why it would only drop power to the processer i donno.

and it was working before right so..... i donno.....
