New Mac Mini

Just ordered my Mac Mini today. I couldn't afford the duo and I don't really do anything so intense that it would require that anyways. I got the 1.5 Core Solo. I was wondering how much of a difference this is going to be over my 1.5 Powerbook G4. I got my Powerbook about a year ago and absolutely love it so I thought the mini would be a good idea. I upgraded to a gig of ram too so that should help out. Are the Intel 1.5s much faster than the 1.5 G4s or are they about the same?

Honestly I dont think you are going to notice a tremendous difference in speed, especially if your old PB had a 7200rpm drive in it... thats not to say it isnt a good purchase, its just that I was a kinda unimpressed with the speed difference between my G4 1.42 Mini vs. Solo Mini... its why I ended up going for an iMac instead.

Well thats no problem really, I love my PowerBook and its plenty fast enough for me.
