I'm looking to add some more space to my pc and figured I'd get an m.2 ssd and use that for a boot drive for windows and then have my 128gb and 256gb Samsung Evo 850s as program/game drives.

I have a MSI Krait z97s motherboard and it says I do have the ability to use m.2 ssd's but cant find any info if I can use the m.2 as a boot/os drive and not sure if it has NVME support. I know some older boards like mine arent able to boot from m.2. Does my mb support m.2 drives as boot drives? And can you guys recommend a good m.2 ssd?

I'm thinking about getting a Samsung 960 m.2 SSD

Thank you.
