New LCD Part 2!

I previously posted my need for a second LCD monitor and I was recommended the Viewsonic VA1912WB. It is a 19" Widescreen LCD with both analog and DVI outputs. Here is a link to it:

First off, here are my system specs:
DFI LanParty Ultra-D NF4Ultra Socket 939
AMD Athlon64 3200+
OCZ 2x256 PC3200----> soon to be OCZ 2x512 PC3200
MSI Nvidia Gforce 6600GT PCI-E
RealSync 17" LCD using DVI
2x80 WD drives
1x60 Maxtor
Windows XP Pro SP2

Here are my questions:

I am using an armoire for where my monitor and computer are located. My monitor is where a TV would have sit so I am a bit packed for space. I have 35 inches left to right. My current 17" monitor is 15 inches wide- leaving roughly 18 inches COMFORTABLY. The dimensions shown on newegg say 17.8" x 15.4" x 7.8" So the width is 17.8 inches, is that just the viewing screen or the whole monitor left to right?

Second, my vid card has analog and DVI outputs, how would I do them both?
Would that kill my video card running two? Should I run one analog and the other DVI?

Wow. It's a nice looking monitor. Not too big at all. However, I would be concerned with the fact that the resolution is not so standard 1440x900. Ugh! You probably would lower the resolution to 1280x720 or 1280x800 to support most games. As we all know, most LCDs look best at their native resolutions.

Ok, a question for you. Say I purchase this monitor and want to game on it...is it going to cripple my gaming performance just to play it?

I play Call of Duty 2, and CS:S, HL2, at native rez on a 6600gt with no problem.

CSS and Call of Duty2 both have support for 16x10 and 1440x900
