New LCD for Playing Poker

I'm looking for a second monitor for online poker playing purposes. I need an LCD to save space and it has to be at least 1600x1200. The max I'm looking to spend is $1000. I hear the Dell 2001FP is good, but I've had problems with Dell in the past and am not really into the idea of doing business with them again. What are everyone's recommendations?

Is this Hitachi any good? Apparently, it is listed at $1600 on other stores, but only $840 on NewEgg. http://www.newegg.com/app/viewprodu...-134-049&DEPA=1

I will sell you my 2 month used but in 100% perfect condition Samsung Black 213t 1600x1200 DVI+VGA 21.3" LCD. The monitor even rotates into portrait mode for crying out loud. they are 1099 retail. email or PM me i will give you a price. no dead pixels just checked yesterday.

have box all cables and all packing materials. you'd be a fool to pass it up.

Yes, that is a good monitor, it, and the 2001fp you've heard so many great things about are based one the same LCD unit (it's an LG if I'm not mistaken), so expect it to do exactly as well as the dell, but without the political problems you have with them. BTW, I'm a proud owner of the 2001fp, (got a screaming deal from cvn79 in the FSFT section), I highly reccommend it.
