New Laptop Win 7 - Cheapest way to get Win 8 on it?

Is $139 the cheapest way I can put Windows 8 on my new laptop since Microsoft no longer is doing the update? I mistakenly ordered my Alienware m14x with Windows 7 instead of 8! :(
It should arrive in a day or 2 now. If the laptop is good, I don't want to send it back and wait another 3 weeks or a month for a computer.
 
I think the cheapest way would be to tell alienware to send you a new key because if they don't you are going to return it since you do have a 30 day return.
 
You can get Windows 8 Pro upgrade for $70 with Student discount (all you need is a .edu e-mail address), but you should try what rudy suggests.
