New Laptop suggestions

I had a laptop awhile ago, a shitty ass Compaq which was the biggest mistake of my life. Anywho, I'm wanting to get a new one now that I dont play many computer games. Basically I'm just looking for something affordable $1000-$1500. Small and not to thick, reliable (my compaq broke all the time), good wireless abilities. I was looking at some Dells and an Acer. Something with a Core Duo would be nice. Anybody have any suggestions?

haha, glad you like the suggestion! I think the best part about that model (beside the price) is that there is an SXGA+ panel in it... something you could almost never find in models that cheap before... sweet
