New laptop needed

I'm looking for a pair of laptops for my business partner and I, and we have some pretty tough to find requirements. The purpose of the laptops is security research and development.

Requirements
  • nvidia graphics (for CUDA applications)
  • Trusted Platform Module
  • Self-Encrypting Drives
  • Three Factor identification suite
  • Fingerprint reader
  • Smartcard reader

Other than that, I'm looking for a 12+" display, Dual or Quad core iX series processors, and high resolution displays (different resolutions for different size displays are acceptable.

No optical drive requirements, should have preboot authentication as an option (utilizing three-factor authentication)

The only laptop I have found so far that meets these requirements is the Dell Precision M6500 with the Embassy Trust Suite. Looking for some other options, if anyone knows of them.

Have you looked at the Lenovo thinkpad line? I think they all have fingerprint readers. The Ideapad line is more for home and thinkpad is more business based I think

Lenovo outlet might have something you can find in an acceptable price range
 
High-end Lenovo ThinkPads or the HP EliteBook lineup should offer enough for you to start looking at. Of course the Dell Latitude and Precision line also offer such capabilities. There's Panasonic Toughbooks as well that can do most of that. Also look into whatever high-end stuff you can from Toshiba.
 
Thanks Bahamut. The HP EliteBook line I have looked at, but it has been a while, the Panasonic Toughbooks are nice, but while I need security, I don't need the ruggedized features, I hadn't thought to look at Toshiba, as their name makes me think of the consumer market, but I'll go check them out.

Any build quality issues with any of the companies I should look out for, or am I pretty safe in that reguard with this level of laptop? (I am coming from typically using all Apple laptops.)

I have found a good substitute for the Ebsassy Trust suite (Which has no linux support, something I wanted). SecureDoc from Winmagic supports dual booting Windows and Linux, both with Multi-factor authentication pre-boot.
