Okay so taking my first few steps into some new kit (see sig below)
I thought okay lets get it working standard first then I can try for some overclocking
Thing is I seem to be falling down on getting the standard going! I set the Multiplier 9 and 266 (2.4Ghz) but CPU-Z reports me running at 1600! Thing is I can't see why, is this some kind of speed step stuff or am I just not setting this right? CPU-Z shows a multiplier of 6 and I know I have never set that! This potentially means the system is running about half its potential doesn't it?
I set the memory multiplier to 4 to match the 1066 ddrII's that I bought but I can find no way on the DS3 to look at the RAS, CAS etc timings so not sure how I can know if they are set okay. My old ASUS board had this stuff all out in your face.....
Can anyone set me straight on this, what have I done wrong?
