Alright, the Basics, Ill have a HD, Case, CD/DVD Burner as well but the core components I want opinions on this build. All comments are appreciated, thanks.

Also, a rating on the build 1-10 would be nice, Id be curious where I stand on hardware for a nice gaming computer (think games heavy on eye candy when rating please)
-Reason I ask is because Ive been out of the loop on all the new hardware over the past few years and had a crash course on new components with a buddy of mine and was able to put this all together after a week of research and looking for the best deals, slickdeals.net , newegg , amazon , etc etc. Thanks all!

(Btw, I got the 2 gtx 260's for $130/ea, so I thought it wasnt a bad deal to go that route)

Two GFX - EVGA 896-P3-1257-AR GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 Superclocked Edition 896MB 448-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI

PSU - OCZ StealthXStream OCZ700SXS 700W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply

RAM - OCZ Gold 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Voltage Desktop Memory Model OCZ3G1600LV6GK

MOBO - EVGA 141-BL-E757-TR LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX X58 SLI LE Intel Motherboard

CPU - Intel Core i7 920 Nehalem 2.66GHz LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor Model BX80601920

Im pretty sure I should get a heatsink as well for this considering I plan on Over clocking, suggestions please?

Ooops, I forgot one of the questions I meant to ask, a monitor. What are suggestions for a nice monitor to be combo'd up with this setup. Reasoning is greatly appreciated as well, Im not looking to go crazy in spending on one, so if anyone knows any hot deals that will go nicely with a setup like this for gaming please share.

Thanks

Not sure what kind of advice you're looking for. That's should be a solid setup you have with those components.

Cheers!,

Not sure if the 2408 is still on sale, but I fell in love with my 2407 and the additional HDMI input makes picture in picture that much sweeter. Not sure if it meets the "not looking to go crazy" part but I'd choose this over an Acer or BenQ any day!

Decent 24" monitors
2408WFP for around 400$ for a S-PVA panel.
LP2475w is an H-IPS panel and can be found used for around 400$. New is around 500$-600
DS-265W is another H-IPS panel monitor that can be found for around the same as the LP2475w and has less input lag.

Heres an easier way to word my question, whats the best resolution/monitor size for gaming?

right now 23"-24" displays are most common with people building new gaming rig.

1. Not enough vertical pixels in a 1920x1080 monitor.
2. Cost about the same as 1920x1200 monitors. (Why lose out on 120 pixels for no reason?)
3. All 1920x1080 monitors are TN panel monitors from what I know, meaning, worst possible panel to use.

Cost the same? 23" start at $170, 24" start at the $200 mark... that is $30 different in price for a 1" and that 120 pixels is 10% less display area for the video card process. Which equal to better framerates.
