Have a few bucks to burn and want to build a new gaming PC. I manly want the PC to be quite so I want to keep the noise level as low as possible and water cooling is out of the question for the moment.

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? Etc
I will mostly wanted to build this PC for BF3.
40% Gaming
30% Will be used to rip my blu-ray collection.
30% Internet surfing and some graphic rendering

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$1,700.00 with tax and shipping.

3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.

Will be using dual 20” on occasion I will move the PC to my living room and hook it up to the 60 in plasma.

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video? etc.
All of these features would be nice.

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
Will be using windows 7 64 bit.
 
What kind of graphic rendering with what program? Do you live near any of the Microcenters in Texas?
 
Quiet + gaming - watercooling is a tough equation. GPUs that will give you good fps with decent visual settings aren't real quiet. Cases that have good airflow for that nice GPU and CPU generally have a lot of fans. You can get quiet"er" fans, but your system will likely have 7-8 fans in it.

And just to clarify #10, you already have the OS, yes?
 
Yes, I already have the OS. Yeah, ive been searching and it looks like I will have to go with some quiter case fans. Does anyone have any recommendations? :(
 
Gaming - 2500k, but with encoding in mind 2600k
Bluray backup - Z68 board (virtu) and 2600k
Rendering - 16gb ram

Went with Raid 0 Samsung drives instead of SSD in this config since your going to want space and speed, something that's crazy expensvie in SSD's. And those Samsungs ROCK in Raid 0 (using the onboard intel raid, very easy to setup and use)

Leaving ~100 for your case, cases are too subjective for me to pick, I like the Thermaltake V6 cases myself, good airflow, quiet, whole front of the case works as a filter, and it's ~$70
you don't need aftermarket coolers since your not overclocking, but if ya wanted one just because, Hiper 212+ is inexpensive @ ~$28
Puts you at about $4 over (+ $15ish shipping)

Went with those ATI 6950's as basically all you have to do is move the bios switch on the card and it's a 6970.
If going the Nvidia Route, I either get 1 GTX 580, or 2 GTX 570 cards or 2 GTX 560 Ti cards.

Get $80 back (4 rebates in that config) as well, i don't care for them myself and just figure on the price without the rebate (as done above)
