1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Main Desktop (Gaming, Photoshop, Encoding, etc)
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$700-800 (Could go higher but would like to stay @ that range)
3) Where do you live?
Northeast, need to buy everything online (Newegg / Amazon)
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
Motherboard, CPU, Case, Memory, PSU, CPU Cooling + Fans, Keyboard+Mouse
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
Video Card: XFX 6950 2GB (Flashed to 6970)
SSD: 64 GB SSD (C300).
6) Will you be overclocking?
yes, yes, yes!
7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?
23" Samsung LCD (Planning on getting a 32"-37" LCD in the future)
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
This week
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video? etc.
It would be nice to have, not a must: Crossfire, USB 3.0 and SATA 6Gb/s.
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
Yes, have Windows 7 64 Bit.
What I'm looking for:
- Definitely 2500K CPU (2600k if budget allows)
- Good cooling system
- 8GB RAM min (16GB if budget allows)
- Good looking case ( I like Silverstone FT02B, Corsair 650D/800D, but they're very expensive)
- Modular PSU (Once again, if budget allows. Love Seasonic/Corsair products)
Thanks for the help.
