Right now I have a 150 Raptor but its not enough space with my games and Adobe CS4. It wasn't too big of a problem because I mainly work on my MBP but I want to migrate some of my work to my pc just for kicks.

Since I need more storage I was wondering if I should get another 150 Raptor and raid it or should I just get a larger HDD with a larger cache, and if that would improve performance.

I was looking at this

mainly because it's cheap and its amount of space. Can anyone recommend me something cheap and good? Or should I just go Raptor?

And how can I image what I have right now onto a new HDD on PC? On Macs I know you can use SuperDuper but I don't know what the equivalent is on PC.

Acronis True Image is a popular app to image from one disk to another.

For your situation I'd suggest just adding that 500gb AALS as a secondary "data" drive, moving as much data as you can to it, and carrying on. The AALS and AAKS drives are all good ones.

That's the thing, I have 3 other internal HDD's I store my movies, documents and other junk on. The main drive has nothing on it except programs and games, and thats taking a lot of space. I'll be getting more programs soon as I have to learn a little more for my job and general interest, like Rhino and Maya.

Acronis True Image sounds good, and the AALS was something I was looking at. Hmmm maybe that or a Velociraptor :p
