as topic says, i just purchased a WD5000AAKS 500gb drive and it isn't recognized by the BIOS and my system won't boot into windows with it plugged in. What I'm wondering is if this means the drive is bad, or should I bother with booting to dos to fdisk? normally i'd just do it but i'm having some problems booting to cd & flash drive right now and it's really giving me a headache! if the drive is just gonna be bad anyway i'll send it back
