So I'm building a new computer and everything works fine at first. Got the OS up and running, installed programs and drivers. However when I reset my computer to get them to kick in, Windows freezes at the loading screen. I try to find out what's up and I can boot in safe mode fine, but not normally. I still have all my files and programs that I put on there. When I try to reformat, it doesn't detect my hard drive (I'm not sure why I'm sometimes prompted to choose if I want to boot in safe mode). Anybody have any ideas?'

P.S. it is a 120GB Maxtor Diamond hard drive.
