new hardware causing problems

I installed a new graphics card and now my memory card reader and some usb flash drives won't get assigned drive letters. The hardware installs but I get yellow warning signs in device manager.

Vista business x64, new card is 9800 GT from a 7600GT...p965 intel chipset...those are the major hardware indicators for possible changes.
 
hmm did you use drivercleaner to wipe the previous drivers for the old card? maybe that's cause all the problem, also have if you go to disk management, if you assign letters to these devices manually do they stay or what?
 
i did use driver cleaner and the drives never get the chance to get a drive letter, they show up but get errors when I try to do anything to them in Disk Management.
