OK i just got my new 20.1" lcd the other day and i absolutely love it but running 1600x1200 on all games is just draining my gfx card. so i am thinkin about selling my ATI All-In-Wonder 9800pro to my friend for like $180 and buying something like this: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=14-143-020&depa=0

or can anyone else suggest a better card? i pretty much will only buy from newegg or a VERY reputable company, any ideas?? thankx

from what i hear half life 2 is VERY cpu dependant, 98pros getting within same frame rates as x800pros but i dunno thats jus what ive read on the boards
 
The 6800OC is a good card if you dont want to spend the extra on a 6800GT or X800Pro TIVO. You can softmod 6800nu's to 16 pipes as well.
 
either the x800 xt or the 6800gt would not have any problems running games at 1600x1200. Most my games are run at 1920x1200 and I have no problems at all.....That is with a 6800GT OC
 
BFG is an extremely reputable company, and you should totally buy that video card.
 
yea I just bought one last weekend and its pretty good...My only regret is that I needed one for hl2 and I built my current AGP system before socket 939 and sli came about this time around.
