I am getting a 32 inch 1080p lcd tv soon and was curious what video card I need to push a game...say like BF2.

Currently I have

AM2 AMD X2 4600+
evga 7600 gs
motherboard is gigabytes ga-m55sli-s4

Im sure i have to upgrade my video card but will a 8600gt do the job? Or should I get a 8600gts or a radeon 3850?

Also I think my mobo is nForce4 chipset..do i have to upgrade that too?

Well, you will have to have a look at the hardcore specs of your mobo. Depending on the max bus speed and etc... you might have to, but, my guess is that you wont have to.
