New GPU Purchase

Save the $60 for when you go crossfire. The MSI appears to vent the air into the case (or nowhere if you have a 2nd card in CF). That type of cooler does not work for CF if there is no room between the cards like on many Multi-GPU motherboards. Also, MSI rebates are difficult to get, I had to jump through hoops to get them to accept mine.
 
I feel as if a 3 year warranty is enough for me as I will most likely upgrade within 2 years.

fm with Sam morris and 4LC4P0N3 ^^^ on this. The twin frozr version is not unlockable from what I heard and I see no reason to get that version while the reference models are still for sale. I'd try and unlock a reference and then change the cooler later if the reference cooling isn't adequate for your needs.
