Hi all.

I am looking to build a new gaming rig.

I currently have a Q9550, 8 GB of ram, a GTX 285 and six 1TB drives in raid 5.

I have five Sata II 128 SSD drives, and all my above components.

I would like some suggestions on a new game rig, with a intel Proc.

I game with the following games. http://www.steamcalculator.com/id/lundrog

I was thinking a i7, or i5, with the five SSD's in raid 0 or 5. 8/16 GB of ram, and maybe a GTX 570.

Thoughts? Still gaming on a 22in CRT. I would like to keep it under 1k..

Thanks again.

What are the brands and models of each of the five SSDs?

What resolution do you use while gaming?

Do you live near a brick-and-mortar Fry's or Micro Center store? If not, which state do you live in?

Do you plan on overclocking?

Do you have a legit copy of Windows available? If so, what?

Wait, so you need to fit 11 drives onto a mobo? Or are you keeping that RAID array with that Q9550 system and repurposing that system as a server?

Also, please answer the following questions:
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video? etc.
