This is just an opinion/observation but did the General Gaming forum really need to be broken up into:
General Gaming
PC Gaming and Hardware
Console Gaming & Acc
First of all, with PC Gaming and Hardware and Consoles, what goes in the General Gaming forum? I don't think there are enough vague non-console, non pc specific topics to support that forum if you constantly moderate it and move all the topics into their respective PC and Console sub categories.
As is, the General Gaming forum gets on average a healthy 3 pages of activity per day. I don't think that is enough to support 3 seperate forums and this will spread the activity and discussion too thin. It causes more clicking and headache to find topics, especially when there is so much crossover between the 3 forums as it is.
I can understand the motivation behind the move, but I don't see the practicality of it.
