Hey everyone,

I am working on a new gaming build and I am not sure about the processor choice, obviously the i7 9xx series has been proven to be great for gaming and great in general, for an extra 30 dollars or so I can get a 2600k that has 200mhz of extra memory (Total of 3.4ghz standard).

My question is should I get the 2600k? Has anyone used both? The rest of my proposed build is below (no motherboard as of yet as I haven't decided on the cpu)

memory : ?

gpu : ?

mb : ?

Suggestions and thanx all

If all you are doing is gaming, save the $100 and get the 2500K. Can you review the sticky thread and answe the questions there (budget, use, etc) so we can provide more informed help.
