New G15 for $50

1 is a circuit city, 1 is logitech... you only have to fill out a form and make a few copies for the Circuit City one...

It's a good deal AR...

I would buy it but I'm currently waiting on $295 in rebates.

Had it been the older G15 I might have thought about it... but I too have a bunch of rebates waiting.

good deal.... I do like this new flavor of the G15 but gah I hate waiting for the rebates.. plus the Satiek Cyborg KB is due out feb 13th.. I'm interested in that one more.. but regardless, this is a good deal for someone who wants a new G15. :)

I have 'em both!

Old one I purchased for $50 and the new one I purchased for $35 dollars. :)

You have not owned both then. The new one is much better.

I am just wondering how is it better. I was looking at the new ones, but I map alot of photoshop actions and shortcuts to my g-keys. I actually use all 18keys under my m1 settings in photoshop alone. Does the new one have that flexibility?

You can also price match at circuit city and still have the rebates. :)

no the register won't "spit" the rebate that goes to CC and if you try to apply on-line their rebate centre will deny it

no matter what you do you can't go bellow $50

whoever got it for $35 got it from zipzoomfly few weeks ago when they had it for this cheap

I have the older one but I think I could get more use out of the newer one. oh wait...no volume knob :( I never use the G keys so M1 M2 M3 etc are poinless for me, I bought it for the display media buttons and LED light keyboard.

If you use the G keyes then the old one may be better for you. but i will say its much much smaller than the old one and as a result to me feels sturdier. The screen is also much easier to read than the old one even though its a little smaller.

For gaming the G keys are virtually worthless, i tried really hard to get use out of them on both new and old G15 besides the couple i can reach with my pinky the rest are in a bad spot to be really practical.

Where did you find the old one?

I want one

pfunkman what is the use/differences in the G and M keys on the old and new?

I also like the blue LED's vs the orange LED. But that just me.

i like the older one as well, mainly because i like the blue over the orange, i use the g keys for mmo's btw, i have them macro'd to shit and back so for me the blue wins the day...that being said, where can i get a second one?

I have both versions and I must say I like the newer one more. My CC still had three left when I bought mine today.

I ordered and then started to have second thoughts on it, especially with the whole idea of dual rebates. Circuit Shitty's rebate system looks very fishy to begin with, no real forms in .pdf format like other more reputable retailers.

Maybe another day from somewhere else. Now I just have to wait for CC to gimmeh my monies back.

all i did was go into the store and pricematch bestbuy's price of $70. I still get the $20 rebate from Logitech, so I don't have to deal with 2 rebates for the same price. Saved the $30 instantly. I might as well try to send in the $30 rebate anyways. Maybe, if i'm really really really lucky, i'll get an additional $30 back.

loving the keyboard so far though. got everest setup on it monitoring my 4 core temps and video card temp all at the same time, also have the wvs winamp disco lights going on. pretty sweet!

What is the absolute best keyboard out there right now for gaming/design/web work? And don't tell me the Optimus Maximus lol

I have an original Saitek Eclipse that I've been using for years... wondering if this would be worth the purchase.

Im not a fan of the saitek keyboards and am a bit biased towards the G15 but i would say try the g15 out i think youll like it.

Best buy and CC have decent return policies so if you dont like it you dont lose anything.

Do you prefer the old one or the new one? The only major disadvantage I see on the new one is that the volume isn't a rheostat.

If possible, buy it in-store. This way CC prints out multiple receipts and the rebates for you.
