new fans issue please help

Hi i bought two yate loons 120's too replace my stock thermal take ones, i am farely new at building computers and i ran across an issue, my case comes stock with two fan controllers (sviking case) and the new fans did not have the same wires, so i am kind of stumped on how to hook them up to my existing fan controllers, and my other question is, my stock one rans on molex 4 pin, with a little tiny yellow wire going to the mobo, these have a 3 prong power wire going into the mobo, plus a 4 pin molex, which would be better for me to use the mobo power or the molex power, and what is that little yellow wire going to the mobo on the stock fans
 
the Yate loons give you the option of powering directly to your psu via the 4pin molex or through a 3pin motherboard header. If you have open slots on your motherboard, i would use that so it can also monitor rpm.

Your stock fan appears to have a 4pin molex for power and a seperate wire to monitor rpm. Whether you use the rpm wire is up to you as it has no effect on powering the fan at all.

Most fan speed controllers i've seen hook up via 3pin connectors. If this is the case with yours, then you can connect the yate loons directly to the fan speed controller from the 3pin connectors.
 
FYI - I've got one Yate Loon as my exhaust fan and it runs off of my fan controller via the 4-pin molex connector.

Like Altron said you can use either power connector depending on your preferences/configuration.
 
yea thanks for the mobo help, but my fan controller is a 2 pin (typical thermal take) my buddy is comming over to splice it to a 2 pin but tahnks for all your help
