Okay, I'm sure I've covered all my bases on this.
I have bought an ACTIVE DP-to-DVI adapter that's even AMD-certified
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814999032

I have a Sapphire 5670 that supports Eyefinity
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102870

I have 2 ASUS VE248Hs (the new LED-backlit ones) which are 16:9 @ 1920x1080
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236102

and 1 Samsung 24" 16:10 @ 1920x1200

setup is like this:

----ASUS VE248H--------------------------ASUS VE248H-------------------------Samsung
DVI on the DP adapter--------------------------HDMI----------------------------------Native DVI

I can't enable all three monitors at the same time.
I can only choose 2 of the 3.
I have googled this & it says it is because you don't have an active adapter, yet I do & it is even certified.

Am I missing something???
Thanks

you have to have identical resolutions- the 3rd monitor that is 1920x1200 will cause you to fail every time. you need to swap that samsung for another 1920x1080 monitor.

Actually, you don't have to swap it, if you go into catalyst control you can set your 1920x1200 to run as 1920x1080 and then setup eyefinity.

Currently I have a 1920x1080 in the middle and 2 1600x900 on the sides. It's alright but they side ones don't match the middle that accurately since I have to run the middle one at 1600x900.

Since you're talking about 16:10 in the middle and 16:9 on the sides you might be relatively "lucky" and when you set the 1920x1200 to display as 1920x1080 then you might just lose the bottom 120 pixels, not positive if it will work like that but you'll definitely be able to make it work.

It's just a question of whether or not the sides will "meet" or match up where they should in relation to the middle.

one thing I DID leave out is that I'm using the Cat 10.10 & XP, I did see that it needs vista/7, is that true for even non-gaming?

u need windows 7 or vista for eyefinity due to xp dont support such resolutions asfarimknow.

okay, moved to Win7 & it works near flawless.
I do get some issues losing the DP monitor sometimes during a warm restart or coming back from sleep (losing the EDID?)
Thanks guys
