Is this an error based on my overclock (which I backed off a little, immediately after seeing this) or does this have to do with high temperatures or both? Or, is this a completely unrelated problem? Thanks all.

 
Its possible you just got a bad work p2653 (R3, C34, G70) but .........
All the b7 EUE's where at different frames the 3x you tried to crunch it.
If its a bad WU then it tends to error at the same frame each time.

Now your clocked it down a bit, just keep an eye on it.
I've got 1 boxen out of 8 identical ones that has to run 100 Mhz slower than the other 7 once it gets warm.

I occassionally receive the same error where it can not delete the work files. It happens on my Q6600 (which is OC'd) and my corp laptop (which is not), so I don't believe it is OC related.

I've never really checked to see if it just reuses those files again later down the road or if I've got a ton of file stragglers. The file sizes aren't significant in size so they're not even an annoyance.

I wouldn't worry about it. Someone else might chime in, but the stray files have NOT affected the performance or ability to run FaH.


 
You might want to delete your entire work directory as well. This client does not clean up after itself very well and when the work file gets too full you can get these same errors.

I'd also take tigger's advice and back that OC down a bit. These days prime 95 stable for weeks doesn't mean it will fold;)

I second this motion. Either it's a write protected error, or space error. Either way, clearing the work directory will tell if you will have further errors.
