new(er) watercooling setup almost complete...

I recently got a new rad and planned some changes to my case to go along with it.
i painted the rad with some dupli-color mirage paint and i must say it came out quite well but it doesnt show in the pics of course...the color changes from blue/purple/reddish, orange, oh and sparkles too

i also painted the inside of my computer black and sleeved my psu cables black also.
this is in hopes to make my uv stuff stand out really well. im also putting my mcr-220 rad in series with the thermochill rad. the mcr220 will be located in the front of my case(and still have 5 drive bays free!) i also cut a slot in my motherboard tray for wires and such.
drilled 3 holes in the top of my case for tubing and fan wires...

i also removed my asus heatpipe and replaced the thermal pads with as5 and took off the heat trapping asus logo stickers from the pipe. i will be posting another thread about this once i get my machine up and running and have some temps...

i wonder myself.....those are some nicely sized, quick to load, images. i think they work like a charm, and i like having them in a clean link like that a lot better than fighting with the frigging adds that now adorn the side of the forum pages.

all in all, you're showing a hint of something that could be good when it's complete, but there's not enough there yet to know for sure. keep going and good luck.

Oo very nice contrast. Will the radiator add a lot of height to your case? I haven't seen many of those fan->radiator->fan setups... usually just a fan on one side.

Would your motherboard run into heat issues as a result of the northbridge being passively cooled? I see the 120 but will that be good enough?

the rad adds 6 3/4" to the height of the case which isnt too bad. i can also adjust the height of the rad by and inch if i wanted to...
the a8n32 heatpipe is designed for this board to be passively cooled. i removed the heatpipe over the weekend and replaced the thermal pads with as5 and took of the stupid asus logos...
i also have a rad in the front of my case with 4 more fans which will be blowing air across the motherboard. i will be adding another fan towards the end of the build which will help to cool my memory/motherboard also

ok, almost done with everything. ran all my tubes last night and clamped them down. i put a little bit of fluid in the res so i could get an idea of what it will look like .only thing missing is my stasis thermal gpu block and the liquid in the tubes(except for in the res of course).

unfortunately im not going to able to finish nething until mid next week at the earliest.
the replacement waterblock i got today from stasis thermal is also defective. gonna order another mcw60 and ask for a refund on the stasis thermal block. after waiting 5 weeks for a replacement and getting another defective one doesnt bode too well for the product and its staff...
