New E8600 don't show correc temperature

Greetings, just picked up my new e8600 but there's something strange, after i've mounted i went to bios and could see it's temp 18º, i load windows and when i opened realtemp i saw 40º, restarted my pc and went again to bios and now showing 40º, i loaded default values and again temp goes down to 17, 18º, i restarted my pc again ang again went to bios, again 40º in cpi temp, what does this mean? bios problem? cpu?

Update - Just did a clear cmos, bios shows 18. but again when i go to windows it shows 40 in core 1 and 32 in core 2, could be some bios problem?
 
You've got stuck temp diodes in the CPU. Nothing you can do about sans exchanging it.
 
In realtemp temps doesn't go below 40 and 32, but when they go higher realtemp show them rising, but if they are stuck why can i see correct idle temps in bios and in windows i can't? and not seeing correct idle temps in windows should it be a concern? after all it's the temps in load that matters.
 
The BIOS does not read the temperatures off of the sensors in the CPU, which is where Real Temp gets its readings from. It uses a sensor built into the motherboard which is not very accurate. I suggest you ignore your motherboard readings completely, and just go by what Core Temp or Real Temp tells you.
