I purchased a WD 80gig 7200 8mb cache from frys yesterday to replace a kinda dead ancient drive.
As you can see from the attachment below, it already considers the drive at 86% health.
I did try to clone my old drive but it never finished copying...did I copy bad data into the drive and make smart think its a faulty drive?
New western digitial SMART.. aagh.. I like WD drives I dont know if I trust smart but it has worked for me before, please advise.
