How about this easter egg.

When you first start, and the guy Marsh gives you your pistol. Use noclip, walk through the wall with the glass he's standing behind and disable the security by clicking on the button on the monitor in the front. Watch out the window as an imp scales the wall and goes into the ceiling. You have a moment long enough that you can walk back through the wall and watch. Also, Marsh won't talk to you, if you try he just looks at you. I dunno, thought it was pretty funny and haven't seen it posted yet.

I saved a demofile but I've done it a few times - so it doesn't need a demo to be verified.
 
I could have sworn this exact post was posted in another easter egg thread... but anyways, sounds like a bug to me as well.

That's one hell of a bug to spawn an enemy on the opposite side of the wall, shake the screen and then make the enemy crawl up the side of the screen - disappearing into the ceiling without collision detection.

Oh, and that screenshot is great. Where in the game is that?

Use the search! Just Kidding

in game - or on the main menu you can pull up the console by holding Control and Alt and hitting "`" (aka ~)

noclip will let you walk through walls. it's a toggle - once on/once again off. don't get yourself stuck in the floors walls ceilings etc. Have fun.

If I remember right, you had to modify the exe in RTCW to use the god, give all, etc. cheats through the console.

It's likely a scripted event. You trigger it when you enter the area, but you're only supposed to get there later in the game. Doom 3 is loaded with scripted events.

pardon me asking, but whats the command to bring up FPS?


i wanna see how many times ina minutes my 9600XT can actually hit 60FPS at 8x6 with high detail :p

go into console (ctrl + alt + ~) then type in com_showfps 1
