So I have 2 DELL U2410 monitors that I have owned for a while. Is it worth upgrading these?

They are 24" LCD IPS monitors at 1920x1200. Really like the 16:10 aspect ratio. They both still work completely fine, but are the newer monitors much better? Obviously a 4K monitor would be better, but are the newer IPS monitor models different at all?

Should i just save for a 30" 4K monitor and just keep my 2 U2410 monitors as side monitors?

The new U2415 is a possible worthy upgrade. It is using the newer AH-IPS panel with better viewing angles. Standard gamut and 8:5 aspect ratio (1920x1200). Response time and input lag are much better than the U2410. Uses a light AG coating as opposed to the medium-heavy matte that Dell IPS monitors were infamous for using in the past.

If you're interested in 4k, there is a new 32" AHVA (IPS-type from AU Optronics) panel being released in production monitors next month for $1,000 USD or less that people are excited about. There is currently an ongoing discussion about the BenQ BL3201PH here at the [H].

I bought a 50" SEIKI 4K TV when it was on Amazon for 450$. I totally regret it though. Wish people were harder on the TV when they reviewed it. The 4K just sucks, I knew it was only 30hz when buying it. Just didn't realize even had 30hz it doesn't seem to keep up, will see it glitching all the time. I figured if the the 4K sucked it would still be a decent 1080p TV. But the panel itself sucks even at 1080p. Screen is just washed out and looks horrible compared to my 3 year old 51" Samsung Plasma TV.

Trying to sell it on Craigslist, but haven't had any biters yet.
