Howdy,

So right now i am using my dell 24in lcd Circa 04/05 time frame.

So as i am building my new gaming system i think its time to get something newer and bigger.

I know IPS is all the rage but i get this feeling is still new and needs a little more time to mature. I suppose i could drop 1000 for the apple monitor.

Anyways i have been happy with my 24 thus far and wondering if there is a stellar LED/LCD in the 24 to 27 in range worth getting or its it mostly a waste of my money and roll with the IPS stuff ?

i only do single monitor gaming at this point and as i said been happy with that 24 in for all these years.

Any advise is welcome.

The Qnix is just as good as the Apple Cinema/Thunderbolt Displays=joke if you want your display to be able to display blacks and is extremely reflective. Example (Samsung 970D on the left uses tempered glass like the Apple)

Squaretrade warranties can be purchased for <60$. If you want a Apple-esque monitor get a Crossover 2735/55/63AMG which use plasma deposition coating which is less reflective than glass and glossy monitors. Nearly finished Crossover 2755AMG Review

Crossover 2735AMG Review by =DEAD= (In Russian, use Google or Chrome to Translate). The 2735AMG only has a dual-link dvi port, lacks a menu and color controls. 6.4ms delay measured with the SMT Tool. No PWM Detected.
