New Dell screen

[wkn]

After lurking for a long time I finally found a reason to register at this forum.

Today Dell launched a new Studio XPS system. In their promotional shots it comes with a display that I can't find on the Dell website. It looks like it is a stylish 22" with a built-in webcam and a Apple Cinema Display-like curved foot.

I wondered if anyone knows what screen this is.

the case is great with that little tray to put stuff in.

anyways... it looks expensive :-/

Looks like no USB ports on the left or right and no swivel to me.

Looks ugly to me..., but less ugly than the Apple.

Weird, the configs for the desktops are out but the monitors are just the S series. No webcams on them right?

I contacted Dell support about that screen.
Wouldn't give any info, due to policy about not giving out information on unreleased products. So there you go.

I'm hoping that it will be the 23" version of the eIPS screen they're offering, with a 1920*1080 or 1280 resolution. Configuration-wise it would fit perfectly, an upscale system with an upscale display.

You probably meant x1200?

Oh darn it! yet another TN screen. As if there were enough of those. I like the 1920*1080 resolution on a 22" though.
