I was recently looking at New cases that i could get. And thats when i found out that Dell makes Proprietary Motherboards. Simply meaning that will only fit in Dell cases.

I went to a friends house and His brother is pretty good with computers. He told me that the only way to get the stuff from the dell into another case was to Buy another Motherboard and a case of my choice.

If i do so will everything from my other computer Fit into all the new motherboard slots and stuff?

Also would i need to get a new CPU?

You would have too see some pics of the motherboard u want and see if the slots would work, or ask someone professional?
