new custom computer not running right, need help please

hi im running a pc that i built off of newegg.com. i have an AMD 3200+ venice athlon 64 ADA3200BPBOX, bfg tech geforce4 motherboard, corsair xms 1 gig 2x512 pc3200, xfx geforce 6800gs, soundblaster audigy 2 zs soundcard, 250gig harddrive by western digital. its all running on windows xp home edition with sp2. my problem is i have it running for a while and it starts to bog down and the cpu usage peaks at 100% after about a half hour. its protected by systemworks 2004 and ad-aware se professional, i ran full system scan and the only problems i got were from gamespy spyware, and i have the lastest virus updates, and nothing was detected, i cant find anything else wrong. if you have any ideas on what could be wrong let me know because im not too happy about spending 2000 dollars on a computer and not being able to use it :mad: i thank you if you know whats wrong if we cant come to any conclusions im going to send my processor and ram back rma. thanks for the time and help.
